And I just want to say, there is something rather calming in the way (sleeping) and the timing (just before the start of a new year) of your father's passing. It's hard to explain...like he was truly ending one journey to begin another...
I hope for you peaceful thoughts and don't forget to laugh from time to time when you think of him.

Janet... I'm so sorry to hear that you have lost your father. I pray for God's peace to be with you... it sounds like it is. You know he's with your Mom in his heavenly home - and that does MUCH to soothe our sorrows.
